About the Event

This performance explores the Triple Goddess—Maiden, Mother, and Crone—through embodied experience. While maidens and mothers are often celebrated, crones are frequently rendered invisible, yet in some societies, the elder woman holds enduring authority as healer and wisewoman. In the original performance, the artist, her mother, and her daughter offered themselves as “human books,” inviting participants to sit one-to-one and ask questions about their respective life stages. For the Philippines, the artist will be joined by three female artists, collectively forming the Human Library and extending this intimate, durational exploration of female life stages.
