About the Event

Join us for an intimate artist talk with Derek Tumala on Sunday, November 16, 5PM at the Ayala Museum. Moderated by Marie Julienne "Jei" B. Ente, Ayala Museum assistant curator, the conversation will explore Tumala’s creative journey through three parts—Seeding, Sprouting, and Flowering—tracing his artistic beginnings, current projects, and future aspirations. Interludes inspired by Derek Jarman's Modern Nature will invite audience participation and reflection. The session concludes with an open forum. This program is held in conjuction with the outdoor exhibition Derek Tumala: Garden of Others, A Tree Grows, part of Ayala Museum’s OpenSpace series.
