About the Event

On the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of Fernando Zóbel, the 190th anniversary of Ayala Corporation, and the Ayala Museum’s 50th anniversary, the Ayala Museum is presenting Zóbel: The Future of the Past, a reiteration of the Madrid exhibition. This major exhibition recognizes the magnitude of his contributions to post-modern art and more importantly, how he serves as a pioneering example of the global, diverse nature of contemporary culture.  Together with Manila Symphony Orchestra, this Rush Hour concert will feature songs from cassette tapes the artist, Fernando Zobel, listened to while painting.
